Mushroom Soup


  • 500ml Yuan Chicken Collagen Soup

  • 1L Water

  • 100g butter

  • 5 small onions (or 2 large ones)

  • 10 cloves garlic

  • 3 pcs potatoes

  • 2 tbsp plain flour

  • Salt and Pepper to taste

  • 2 cans mushroom 

  • 200g fresh mushroom

  • Parsley/ Chives/ Thyme (Optional)


Step 1: Fry chopped onions and garlic in butter

Step 2: Stir in chopped mushrooms (from can)

Step 3: Add Yuan Chicken Collagen Soup, water and diced potatoes. Cover with a lid and let simmer for 15-20 mins (or until potatoes are soft)

Step 4: Pour soup into a blender and blend 

Step 5: Put back on fire and add chopped fresh mushrooms and simmer for another 5 mins. Add salt and pepper to taste. 

Step 5: Serve hot, garnish with chives, parsley or thyme
